Comfortable clothes that let you move are a good place to start. Bring any relevant referral, surgical guidance, or records you’d like your therapist to consider.
Ask for a complimentary benefits review before your visit. We welcome in-network and out-of-network patients and can help you discuss estimated costs, payment arrangements, and any accessibility needs.

Let’s make
things clearer.
Do I need a referral?
You can usually begin physical therapy in California without a physician referral, subject to direct-access rules. Continuing beyond 45 calendar days or 12 visits, whichever comes first, requires the appropriate approval of your plan of care. Insurance requirements may differ. Read about direct access.
What happens at the first visit?
Your therapist will listen to your concerns and goals, assess your movement, and discuss a personalized plan. Your evaluation may include balance and gait, strength, mobility, and additional screening when appropriate.
Do you accept my insurance?
We accept many insurance plans and offer care whether we are in-network or out-of-network. Contact us for a complimentary benefits review and worksheet before your first visit. Your coverage and individual costs depend on your plan; reimbursement is not guaranteed.
What should I bring?
Bring any relevant referral, postoperative guidance, or records you would like your therapist to consider. Comfortable clothing that allows you to move is helpful. The practice can confirm anything else you need before your visit.
Is an evaluation request a confirmed appointment?
No. An appointment request is a starting point. The practice will confirm availability and the appointment details with you.
Can I continue with fitness after rehabilitation?
The practice offers post-rehab fitness, personal training, and medically informed yoga. Your therapist can help you discuss a suitable next step.
