Gerard received his physical therapy degree from Mount Saint Mary’s University in 2002. His clinical rotations included Cedars-Sinai Spine and Orthopedic Center, Harbor-UCLA’s acute rehabilitation inpatient facility, South Bay Orthopedic Clinical Specialists, and Pacific Physical Therapy in Manhattan Beach.
Doctor of Physical Therapy
Post-professional doctorate through Evidence In Motion, with a focus on musculoskeletal and administrative management.
Orthopedic training
More than 2,000 hours of specialized orthopedic training in Torrance, followed by the national specialist certification examination.
Balance assessment
Training in Natus balance systems, including InVision and VSR Sports testing and training.
Therapeutic Pain Specialist
Advanced study in pain neuroscience education, graded exposure, pacing, and other approaches to persistent pain.
TRX sports medicine
Training in therapeutic and preventative applications of suspension exercises for musculoskeletal conditions.
