Therapeutic exercise

Purposeful movement. Personal progress.

The right movement starts with the right plan. Therapeutic exercise is selected around your needs, abilities, and goals—not a one-size-fits-all routine.

A plan built around your movement.

Your physical therapist uses specific exercises to work on the parts of movement that need attention. Your program may support recovery, daily function, or a transition back to an active lifestyle.

Strength and endurance
Balance, agility, and coordination
Mobility and range of motion
Posture and movement awareness

Injury prevention & performance

Movement assessments and corrective strategies connect your exercise plan to the demands of your sport and daily life. We look at strength, mobility and movement control to help you stay active and work toward your performance goals.

Strength with a purpose

Strength and endurance exercises are adapted to your starting point and progressed as appropriate. The aim is to make the movements you need in daily life more manageable.

Balance, posture, and mobility

Your program may include coordination, postural awareness, or active and assisted mobility work. We explain the exercises and help you understand how they relate to your goals.

Breathing, circulation, and relaxation

Your therapist may include breathing, circulation-focused movement, and relaxation techniques when they fit your goals and individual assessment.

Recovery is part of the plan

We consider how activity, pacing, and recovery fit together. Any home exercises are selected and explained by your therapist.
